About Brook Highland Racquet Club

 

Brook Highland Racquet Club (BHRC) is nestled in a beautiful natural setting while being conveniently located less than two miles from Highway 280. The Club is located in the established neighborhood of Brook Highland, between Highway 280 and Highway 119. BHRC provides its members with everything they could want in a tennis and swimming facility.

Our philosophy is to offer enjoyable tennis to every level player, and to promote tennis and fitness as a lifetime pleasure. Home of the former Eddleman Pro Tennis Classic, amenities include 13 premier soft courts, 8 hard courts, 1 pickleball court, and an Olympic sized swimming pool. Here at Brook Highland Racquet Club, there is truly something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

BHRC FEATURES

• 22 tennis courts including 13 premier soft courts, 8 hard, and 5 pickleball courts.

• 18 courts have lights for night play.

• Tennis pro shop featuring a spacious porch, men's and women's restrooms and showers.

• The pro shop is stocked with demo tennis racquets, apparel and accessories. Racquet stringing available.

• Tennis instruction is available for ALL skill levels. Private lessons, group lessons, and clinics taught by USPTA Profesionals.

• Derek Tarr, UAB Men's Tennis Coach, serves as Director of Teaching Programs.

• Olympic-size swimming pool with a diving board and seven lap lanes

• A baby pool for children under 6 years of age.

• Pool cabana with men's and women's restrooms, showers, and snack bar.

• Swimming lessons and the Brook Highland "Marlins" swim team are available.
